Students at Chesterbrook Academy® Preschool in Bethlehem Donate Nine Hope Chests to Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool on High Point Boulevard in Bethlehem recently donated dozens of items to Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley's Holiday Hope Chests program, which helps to ensure every child receives a special gift during the holiday season by distributing more than 8,000 gift boxes to at-risk or underprivileged youth in the Lehigh Valley each year. For two weeks, students collected a variety of items, including coloring books, crayons, personal care items and toys to help children and families supported by the nonprofit. After the collection, students organized the items into nine decorated shoe boxes for delivery to the organization. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of helping others, especially during the holiday season.
