Coroner's Office Identifies Body Found in Monocacy Creek
The deceased is Jeffrey Moyer of Bethlehem. An autopsy will be performed today to determine the cause of his death.

Bethlehem police and the Lehigh County coroner’s office have identified a body found in Monocacy Creek yesterday afternoon.
The man was Jeffrey Moyer of East Market Street in Bethlehem, according to the Allentown Morning Call. The Lehigh County Coroner’s office will perform an autopsy today to determine the cause of his death.
The coroner’s office stated that there is no cause for public concern following Moyer’s death.

Bethlehem police told Lehigh Valley Live that a call just before 1 p.m. alerted them that the body had been sighted near Main and Spring Streets. Police remained on the scene until 3 p.m., investigating the creek and a quilt that had been left on its banks.
