Husband, Wife Dead In Lehigh Valley Murder-Suicide

The Northampton County coroner has released the identities of the deceased couple found in their Bethlehem home on Saturday.

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA —The Northampton County Coroner’s Office is reporting the murder-suicide of an elderly husband and wife in Bethlehem.

County Coroner Zachary R. Lysek released the identities of the two people found dead in their home in the 700 Block of Redfern Lane in Bethlehem on Saturday.

The two were married and lived in the home where they were found, the coroner said.

The woman, Celeste L. Kistler, 78, died of a gunshot wound and her manner of death is homicide, the coroner said.

The man, 80-year-old Larry A. Kistler, died from a gunshot wound. His manner of death was suicide, the coroner said.
