LVHN YMCA Childcare Center Announces Summer Open House Events For Upcoming School Year

Scavenger hunt, gift basket drawing & other activities offered at the LVHN Childcare Center open houses, July 15 & Aug 14 at Westgate Center

The Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) Childcare Center, operated by River Crossing YMCA, will host two open house events this summer in advance of the 2025-2026 school year.

On Thursday July 15 and August 14, 6:30-7:30PM, River Crossing YMCA will provide fun activities, tours and information to families about the Y’s celebrated early childhood curriculum and care program, located in the Westgate Shopping Center at 2435 Schoenersville Rd. in Bethlehem. Activities will include a scavenger hunt, art show and drawing for a Crayola gift basket.

“What stands out the most is how the staff treats each child like their own,” explained Ashley Liotti, an LVHN colleague and mother of two children enrolled at the Westgate center. “It’s so comforting to know that my children are in such caring hands. I can see the positive impact this child care center has on my kids’ development, and I am beyond grateful for the nurturing, supportive community they’ve created.”

The center offers full-time care and education to children ages six weeks through five years old. Open spots for LVHN employees are held in priority at the center, but additional spots have been made available to anyone in the community in need of full-time care for their children.
