Michael Ann & Saquon Barkley Hope Foundation and Generational Guidance Deliver Support with Turkey Giveaway

First 100 families to receive turkeys and fixings as local organizations step up to support residents facing holiday-season food insecurity

The Michael Ann & Saquon Barkley Hope Foundation (MASBH), in partnership with newly launched nonprofit Generational Guidance and JONES on 9th Unisex Luxury Streetwear Boutique, will host a community Turkey Giveaway on Saturday, November 22 at 3:00 p.m. at Mama B Resale Boutique, 107 N. 7th Street, Suite 110, Allentown, Pa.

The first 100 guests will receive a turkey and holiday fixings at no cost to help bridge the gap and ensure more local families can gather around a warm meal this Thanksgiving.

The giveaway is part of MASBH’s ongoing mission to support underserved youth, women, and families through direct community outreach, including food, bedding, and school readiness supplies distribution, academic and athletic opportunities, and family stabilization programs. Led by Tonya Johnson, co-founder of MASBH and owner of Mama B Resale Boutique, the initiative continues the Barkley family’s commitment to uplifting the Lehigh Valley community.

“Providing families with the essentials they need during the holidays is at the heart of who we are,” said Tonya Johnson, co-founder of the Michael Ann & Saquon Barkley Hope Foundation and owner of Mama B Resale Boutique. “We know what it means to struggle, and we know what it means to feel supported. If we can lighten the load for even one family this season, then we’re doing the work we were called to do.”

The event also marks a meaningful collaboration with Generational Guidance, a newly established Allentown-based nonprofit founded in October 2025. The organization focuses on empowering youth and families through mentorship, life skills programming, and community support resources. This Turkey Giveaway initiative is one of its first major community partnerships. JONES on 9th, a unisex luxury streetwear boutique offering footwear, fragrance, accessories, and more, is also supporting the giveaway as part of its commitment to strengthening the Allentown community.

Families are encouraged to arrive early, as distribution is limited to the first 100 guests on a first-come, first-served basis. No registration is required.
