PA Teen Pulled Into Woodchipper, Killed: Police

Authorities have identified the victim as a local teenager.

NORTH WHITEHALL, PA — A Lehigh County teenager was pulled into a woodchipper and killed while working for a local landscaping company, authorities said.

Isiah Bedocs, 17, of Coplay, died following the incident, which occurred during the afternoon on Tuesday, Aug. 9.

Bedoc was working at a home in North Whitehall Township, state police said.

His clothing became caught in the woodchipper, leading to the accident, according to authorities.

He was taken to nearby Lehigh Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
