PA Playground Fight, Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 3 Injured: Report
The shooting happened after around 30 teenagers gathered at a local park to fight, according to a report.
READING, PA — One person is dead and three others were injured following a shooting in a Berks County playground and park Monday night, according to multiple reports.
The shooting happened around 8 p.m. in Brookline Park off Meade Street in Reading, the Reading Eagle reported. On Tuesday, Police Chief Richard Tornielli told the newspaper the shooting happened after 25 to 30 teenagers between the ages of 16 and 18 gathered at the playground to fight.
Police have not released the identities of the victims.

In a statement posted to its website, Governor Mifflin School District said it would hold a day of virtual classes Tuesday after four students were involved in a shooting.
"Counseling services will be available at both schools for any students in need," the district's statement read. "Thank you for your cooperation, our thoughts are with our students during this difficult time."
