2 Hospitalized After Tesla Crashes On Interstate 76
A Tesla rode about 100 yards on top of a Jersey barrier on Interstate 76 Friday morning. The crash led to two people being hospitalized.
GLADWYNE, PA — A Tesla crashed Friday morning on Interstate 76, sending two people to a hospital, emergency responders said.
According to the Gladwyne Fire Company, crews were called to the highway for a report of an accident with injuries.
There, they found a small trash truck pinning a Tesla SUV against the Jersey barrier.

The fire company said the Tesla rode about 100 yards along the top of the Jersey barrier, compromising its battery.
Crews stabilized the Tesla, accessed the first responder loop, and de-energized the vehicle, according to the fire company.

A heavy-duty wrecker was able to further lift the Tesla from the barrier to avoid further puncturing the battery.
The fire company did not say how severely the two taken to a hospital were injured.
