Learn more about Sholem Aleichem, the remarkable man whose work has endured to a wider audience than he ever could have imagined, when Jeremy Dauber, professor of Yiddish Literature at Columbia University, joins us to speak about his new book, The Worlds of Sholem Aleichem: the Remarkable Life and Afterlife of the Man Who Created Tevye the Dairyman. New Voices for Pluralism in Israel

A new coalition for pluralism, including Israelis of all Jewish backgrounds, is actively changing Israeli society for the better. Behind the headlines about religious extremism and coercion, these Israelis are rethinking the relationship between religion and state and creating new realities in Jewish life in Israel. NIF's Religious Pluralism Grants Officer Shira Ben Sasson Furstenberg will give an overview of these issues and the work on the ground advancing religious pluralism. Come hear how Israelis are successfully working together to promote tolerance, inclusion, and respect for diversity. Preparing for Death:  Living your Life

Main Line Reform Temple joins together with Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church for dinner followed by a presentation by Stephen R. Treat, senior staff therapist and former director and CEO of Council for Relationships, on exploring ways to manage the limitations, physical and otherwise, that aging inevitably presents.
