Bryn Mawr Fire Co Hosting 9/11 Memorial Ceremony Thursday

The event will feature music from the Villanova Singers, a guest speaker, and a procession of first responders and Villanova ROTC members.

UPDATE: The 9/11 remembrance event has been postponed until sometime next week due to a house fire, officials said.

BRYN MAWR, PA — The Bryn Mawr Fire Company is inviting the public to a Sept. 11, 2001 remembrance event Thursday.

The Bryn Mawr Fire Company's Annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the fire company.

Musical selections will be performed by the Villanova Singers.

The event will also feature a guest speaker and a procession with local first responders and members of the Villanova ROTC program.

Thursday's event will mark 24 years of the fire company hosting the solemn tribute to the people who died in the terrorist attack, and those who lost their lives in the responses.
