Bryn Mawr Road Closing Through Late September
PECO utility work will close a Bryn Mawr road weekdays through late September, forcing drivers to be detoured, according to PennDOT.
BRYN MAWR, PA — Morris Avenue in the Bryn Mawr section of Lower Merion Township is closing for two months due to PECO utility work, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, Morris Avenue will be closed John Barry Drive and Harriton Road starting Tuesday.
The closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through Sept. 29.

During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Harriton Road, Roberts Road, Old Gulph Road, and Spring Mill Road.
Local access will be maintained.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
