Budding Naturalists at Riverbend Environmental Education Center

This caregiver & me program begins Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

Riverbend Environmental Education Center has the cure for cabin fever! Adult caregivers and the special young person in their lives can sign up for Riverbend’s Budding Naturalists program. This Caregiver & Me program runs Wednesdays from 10:30am to 11:30am starting January 17th. Budding Naturalists will participate in nature-based activities that include a story, craft, nature activity, and a “hike” around the preserve. The program is one hour each week and is designed for children ages 2-5. A caregiver must accompany each child. Siblings under 2 are welcome at no additional charge. The cost is $120 per child for a six-week session. Enrollment is capped at 12 participants. The final meeting of every session will include a campfire and s’mores.

Riverbend Environmental Education Center is a nonprofit 30-acre nature preserve and environmental education center located at 1950 Spring Mill Road, Gladwyne, PA 19035. Riverbend EEC offers camp programs, school field trips, offsite programs, and a variety of events at the preserve for all ages. Riverbend EEC is home to a 300 square foot state-of-the-art aquaponics greenhouse that serves as a living laboratory for Nature-based STEM teaching and learning. https://riverbendeec.org/
