Harcum College Dental Clinic Earns Top Recognition for Community Impact

The on-campus clinic serves hundreds of patients at little or no cost.

The Dental Clinic at Harcum College has been independently recognized for its exceptional contributions to expanding access to healthcare. According to Impact Genome, a national evaluator of program effectiveness, the clinic achieved a 100% effectiveness rate—the highest
possible score.

The clinic’s impact is stronger than 99% of similar programs nationwide in the field of Healthcare Access and Advocacy. Additionally, it earned the prestigious “Extensive Supporting Evidence” rating, a distinction attained by only 39% of programs in this sector.

“This recognition confirms what our community has long known: the Harcum Dental Clinic is making a meaningful difference in people’s lives,” said Dr. Staci Violante, Harcum College Dental Hygiene Program Director. “Our students gain hands-on experience providing affordable, high-quality care, while our patients receive much-needed dental services.”
