LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Great teachers matter. In Lower Merion Township, we’re fortunate to have teachers like Mr. Brian Gauvin at Harriton High School.

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to recognize teachers and show them how much they’re valued and appreciated.

This submission comes from Carolyn Choh, mother of Robert Choh Fleming, who nominated Gauvin, a science teacher and Science Olympiad Teacher leader at Harriton High School.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

The insane hours he devoted to the students, even driving projects to the competition in a van on many occasions so that the projects would not get damaged. Working weekends and holidays to help the students get ready for the competitions.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

He did everything with a smile
