Mill Creek Road Bridge Restricted After Being Struck

The "S" bridge carrying Mill Creek Road over Mill Creek in Gladwyne sustained considerable damage Tuesday morning, officials said.

GLADWYNE, PA – The Mill Creek Road "S" bridge over Mill Creek was has travel restrictions after it was struck, Lower Merion officials said.

The restriction is between Righters Mill and Old Gulph roads in Gladwyne.

Lower Merion Public Works said the bridge sustains considerable damage, prohibiting two-way traffic.

The bridge is now a single-lane bridge with two-way traffic controlled by stop signs on either end of the bridge.

Drivers are urged to respect the stop signs and yield to oncoming traffic.
