
A woman told Lower Merion Police that she had her pocket picked while she ate lunch at The Corner Bakery located at 153 E. City Ave. on Oct. 30.
The woman arrived at the restaurant around noon and paid for her lunch with money from her wallet, police said.
She then sat down and hung her purse with her wallet inside from her chair, police said.
At around 1 p.m., the woman got a phone call from her credit card company asking about several questionable charges that had recently been placed on her card, police said.
The woman checked her purse, and her wallet had been stolen.
