Student was Foaming at the Mouth from Drinking, Police Say

Public drunkenness, disorderly conduct

A 23-year-old Rosemont man was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct at 12:55 a.m. March 27 after urinating in public, police said. A woman told police on patrol that a man was urinating in a parking lot behind Maloney’s Pub; officers found the man standing in a wet spot that smelled like urine, and had to hold the man up so he wouldn’t fall, police said. The man was taken to Bryn Mawr Hospital, according to the report.

Liquor law, public drunkenness

A 20-year-old Bryn Mawr man was cited for public drunkenness at 3:14 a.m. on March 31 in a Harcum College dorm, police said. A woman called police and told them that a man in the lounge area of Harcum College was foaming at the mouth and having difficulty breathing; when police arrived, they saw fresh vomit on the man’s shirt sleeve and he smelled strongly of alcohol, police said. He was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital for a possible alcohol overdose, and later cited for public intoxication and underage drinking, according to the report.
