Woman Attempts to Steal Feminine Products, Underwear

An employee at the Rite Aid notices some suspicious activity.

An employee of the Rite Aid located at 139 W. Lancaster Ave. saw a woman put two packages of feminine products in her purse on Oct. 31 at approximately 6:46 p.m., police said.

The woman then approached the register to pay for other items that she had collected in the store while the feminine products and underwear remained in her purse, police said.

The woman attempted to leave the store with the unpaid for merchandise still in her purse when she was stopped by a Rite Aid employee, and the police were called.

Police valued the stolen items at $25.
