5 Things to Know As Canon-Mac Students Head Back to School

From open houses to inservice days, here are five dates in September you should know.

The first day of school for Canon MacΒ students was Aug. 26, and now that the back-to-school shopping is done and class schedules are assigned, there are a few upcoming dates for students and parents to keep in mind.

Here are a few things coming up in September:

  • There is no school on Monday, Sept. 2, for the Labor Day holiday.
  • Open house is Thursday, Sept. 12Β for Canon-McMillan High School, and is Sept. 17Β for Canon-McMillan Middle School.
  • Open house at Borland Manor, Cecil, Muse and South Central elementary schoolsΒ is Monday, Sept. 16. Open house at Cecil and North Strabane intermediate schools is Sept. 18. Open house at First Street, Hills Hendersonville, and Wylandville elementary schools is Sept. 19.
  • Sept. 20 is an inservice and staff development day for all teachers. There is no class for students on Sept. 20.
  • Progress reports will be available on Sept. 26.
