5 Things You Need to Know Before Going to Steelers Training Camp

For some Pittsburgh Steelers fans in Canonsburg, North Strabane and Cecil, making the trek to Saint Vincent College in Latrobe for training camp is an annual event.

Other fans might be considering making the trip for the first time.

Whether you're a veteran or rookie Pittsburgh Steelers training camp attendee, here are five things you need to know:

1. The Pittsburgh Steelers report to camp on Friday, July 26. The first open practice is 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 27. Open practices start at 3 p.m. Scroll down to No. 5 for the full schedule.

2. There are two night practices. The first is 5:25 p.m. on Aug. 2 at Saint Vincent College. Players will sign autographs at 5 p.m. Another night practice is set for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 14 at Saint Vincent College.

3. Parking and admission is free. For the 14 open afternoon practices, the parking lot will open at noon. The parking lot will open at 2:30 p.m. for the Aug. 14 evening practice. Click here for directions.

4. A lot of the players chose to sign autographs after practice. They make their way to the designated fan areas.
