Bob Errey Featured at Big Brothers Big Sisters Event
Meet and greet was held at Jay's in Southpointe.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh hosted a meet and greet at Jay's Sports Bar & Restaurant with broadcast sports analyst and former Penguin winger Bob Errey.
BBBS Washington and Greene County program coordinator Sara Thomas said she hoped the event would raise awareness of what the nonprofit does -- and perhaps even drum up some volunteers.
Washington and Greene areas, she said, specifically need more Big Brothers (if you're 21 or older, you can apply). Applicants go through a screening process that includes in-person interviews, references and a background check.
