Business Owner and Wife Charged With Theft, Conspiracy

The state attorney general lodged 21 charges—many tax-related—against the couple this week.

A local business owner and his wife face myriad charges for not paying taxes, online court dockets show.

Raymond William Cessna, 58—who the Observer-Reporter said is the operator of Cessna Auto Body—and his wife, Pamela Jean Cessna, 53, both of North Strabane, each face 21 counts in total, court records show.

The charges were filed by the state attorney general's office.

Among them are three counts of theft by failure to make required deposits and two counts of criminal conspiracy—third-degree felonies.

Both also have been charged with offenses related to the remittance of taxes, as well as a charge of operating a business without a sales tax license.

Online court dockets did not indicate when preliminary hearings would be held for Raymond and Pamela Cessna.
