UPDATED: Fisher Secures Democratic, Republican Nominations in Cecil Supervisor Race

Unofficial election results show that Frank Egizio received the second-most number of votes.

Unofficial election results show that Cindy Fisher received both the Democratic and Republican nominations for Cecil Township supervisor.

Fisher, a stay-at-home with 10 years in the finance/real estate industry, had the most number of votes with 551—or 46.7 percent of those cast.

On the Facebook page associated with her campaign Fisher released the following statement:

"I want to thank everyone who supported me, my husband and family for their support, and one of my opponents, Jimmy Passieu for being a true gentleman and an honorable man. With the campaign behind me, I am looking forward to working as hard as possible to making Cecil Township a great place to work, live and raise a family when I'm sworn in next January. Time to go to work."

Frank Egizio, a paving foreman, had the second-most number of votes with 434—or 36.8 percent.

Jim Passieu, who is a member of the Cecil Township road crew, was in third place with 195 votes, or 16.5 percent of the vote.

No one ran on the Republican ticket, although unofficial results indicate that Fisher received the nomination through write-in votes.
