Five Things You Need to Know This Week
Canonsburg, Cecil, North Strabane and Canon-McMillan all have meetings scheduled this week.

Here are five things going on in the Canon-McMillan Patch that you need to know about this week:
1. Tonight, Canonsburg Council meets to conduct its voting meeting for February. One of the items expected to be voted on is an amendment to an ordinance that governs the way trash bills are collected.
Councilman Rich Russo has asked council to consider changing language in the current ordinance that would have bills put in the names of landlords instead of individual tenants. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. and will be held in council chambers (located on the upper floor of the borough building).
