Five Things You Need to Know This Week
Canonsburg Council and the Cecil Township Board of Supervisors meet.

1. Canonsburg Council will hold its agenda meeting at 7 p.m. today—Monday—in the borough building. Council will discuss the possibility of taking out a line of credit to pay for the borough building renovation project.
2. Cecil Township Board of Supervisors will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in the municipal building.
3. Canonsburg's Zoning Hearing Board will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the borough building and is expected to address two issues at the former Fort Pitt property. David Stoehr of Stoehr Development Inc. is requesting approval of a subdivision plan of 14.8548 acres on Four Coins Drive. The petition was initially tabled by the planning commission on Dec. 6. Dean Grose, president of Comtech Industries of 1301 Ashwood Drive, Canonsburg, is requesting approval to construct a two-story commercial field office building with garages on property owned by Stoehr Development. The building will replace a prior building of approximately the same dimensions in the same location.

4. Local fish fries will continue this week.
5. The Greater Canonsburg Chamber of Commerce is hosting an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast at the McDonald's in the borough from 7 a.m. to noon Sunday. Tickets cost $4 and include a sasauge patty, a soft drink or coffee and all-you-can-eat pancakes. The cost is $3 for children 12 and younger. For more information, call 724-745-1812.
