Help Wanted: CMSD Seeking Hall of Honor Nominations

Know someone from the Canon-Mac area who is a standout in academia, athletics, art or citizenry? Read on—the district needs your help.

The is accepting nominations for its , which recognizes individuals who, through their accomplishments or contributions, have distinguished themselves in academia, athletics, arts, or service to the community.

This includes honoring alumni or other community members who have made significant contributions to the Canon-McMillan School District community and who is at least 30 years of age. 

Categories include: Academia/scholastic achievement, athletic achievement, artistic achievement, and outstanding service to the community.

The Hall of Honor was created to recognize members of the Canon-McMillan community who have honored the district with their accomplishments and contributed to the growth and positive image of the district.

In early summer, the new members will be inducted at a banquet in their honor, and their plaques will be unveiled.

New members will also be recognized with certificates from the Pennsylvania state House and the U.S. Congress.

The district will also recognize new inductees at a football game this upcoming school year.

Paper nominations are available at , located at 314 Elm St. Ext., , or at the Canon-McMillan Administration Building, located at 1 N. Jefferson Ave., Canonsburg.
