Most Serious Charges Against Washington Teen Withdrawn

The charges stemmed from what police called a high-speed chase earlier this month in Canonsburg.

The most serious charges against a Washington teenager involved in what Canonsburg police called a high-speed chase that endangered passersby—one of them district Judge David Mark—were withdrawn Wednesday.

Online court records show that a felony count of receiving stolen property against Jamar Jones, 18, was withdrawn during his preliminary hearing before , as were three misdemeanor reckless endangerment charges.

Jones had been remanded to the Washington County Jail on $25,000 straight bond, but that was changed to a $25,000 unsecured bond Wednesday.
