A City of Washington transit alert sent out by Councilman Matt Stanisweski said, “Alert: This is a test. Bryan is gay."

According to the Observer-Reporter, a Canonsburg man received the alert on his work account and made a complaint to city officials.

Stanisweski said that he believed the alert system was in a testing phase.

Regardless, it prompted comedian and late-night host Jimmy Kimmel to air a skit on the matter on his show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
