Pet Expo to Celebrate All Things Animals
Are you a pet lover? Then this event slated for Saturday is for you!

is partnering with local nonprofit rescue group Pet Search to hold a pet expo from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Washington County Fairgrounds.
The fairgrounds are located at 2151 N. Main St. in Chartiers Township—just minutes away from , and .
Parking and admission are free, and attendees are encouraged to bring their vaccinated pets to the event, as well.

White said the event will allow area residents to speak with professionals about pet health, obedience training and adoption opportunities, as well as participate in a pet parade and costume contest.
The event also will feature an obedience show, ask-a-vet seminar, more than 30 vendor booths, food and music.

“During my time in the Legislature, I have taken a strong interest in animal-rights legislation—supporting reforms to the Dog Law, which tackle the problem of puppy mills, and proposing America’s first-ever ,” White said. “The pet expo is a way for animal lovers to come together, discuss and learn more about the topics that are important to our furry friends—and have some fun in the process.”
