
Canonsburg police are investigating a hit-and-run incident on Morganza and Euclid around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Taylor Moore, 19, of 418 Duquesne Ave., said he was traveling on Morganza and driving straight through the green light onto Euclid when he said a red Chevrolet Camaro failed to stop at a red signal and struck the front passenger side of his bumper.
According to police, the driver of the Camaro had been stopped by a Cecil Township police officer for proceeding through the light, but the driver had not mentioned she had been in an accident.

Canonsburg police said they were working to verify the identify of the driver, and said she would be charged with hit and run and failing to stop at a light.
Cell phone reported stolen

Aly Herrnberger, 19, of Washington, told police Tuesday that she attended a Super Bowl party at the 431 Blaine Ave. residence of Phil Henderson and when she woke up her cell phone was missing.
Herrnberger said five people were in the residence for the party, and that she needed a police report for insurance purposes.
Purse stolen
Bobbi Jo Howe, 22, of Canonsburg, told police around 2 p.m. Tuesday that someone had stolen a black purse out of her unlocked car sometime overnight Monday. She said she discovered it was missing around noon Tuesday.
While there was no cash in her purse, Howe told police her debit card was in her wallet.
