Police Investigating Brick Thrown Through Door
No one was injured when the brick was thrown through the glass door of a Canonsburg home earlier this week.

At first, Damon Jon Zappa thought the loud noise he heard Monday night was something falling off one of the walls of his home.
But minutes later he discovered the source of the sound: A small half-brick was found lying in the living room, surrounding by glass shards.
Canonsburg police said they were summoned to the 417 Highland Ave. home around 11:30 p.m. Monday, where they discovered that someone had thrown the brick through a rear glass door.

And that's not all: Officers said in a police report that it appeared as though the person who threw that brick had tried to throw rocks and a piece of asphalt before finally making contact with the glass door.
Police noted that the door's aluminum frame was also damaged.

A neighbor said he saw a red-and-black SUV-type vehicle flee a nearby alley at a high rate of speed around the time of the incident, with people reportedly yelling, "Let's get the hell out of here," according to the report.
