Popular Corks & Kegs Festival Returns to The Meadows

Breweries, Wineries, Food and Live Entertainment

The Meadows Racetrack & Casino will be the site for the second annual Corks & Kegs Festival on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The popular event, hosted by the Observer-Reporter, will feature premier craft breweries, wineries, food trucks, a classic car cruise and live entertainment with free admission.

This year’s Corks & Kegs Festival offers guests additional craft beer selections in the Leinenkugel's Beer Garden, including Great Lakes Brewing, Spoonwood Brewing, Church Brew Works, Shawnee Craft Brewing, Leinenkugel's, Levity Brewing Company and Voodoo Brewery. Local wineries at the Wine Bar feature J&D Cellars, Christian Klay Winery and Thistlethwaite Vineyard. The Corks & Kegs Marketplace will feature various food streets - Artisan Avenue, Food Truck Row, Automotive Alley, Style Street, and Vendor Way.

Sunday, August 21 will begin with the ever-popular 7th annual classic car “Cruise-In” – featuring hundreds of cars on the racetrack. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the car show starts at 11:00 a.m. Registration and admission are free.

Guests of the Corks & Kegs Festival can purchase drink tickets for beer and wine, including a $10 souvenir tasting glass and five drink samples. Single sample tickets are $2. Only individuals 21and older can enter the beer and wine tent.

Free live entertainment will feature a mix a genres at the South Hills Auto Main Stage.
