Gallery: Reissing Road Bridge Replacement Project Completion Date Nears
The $175,000 project is being completed by the state Department of Transportation's Washington County Maintenance force.

State Department of Transportation Safety Press Officer Jay Ofsanik confirmed Tuesday that the project—which cost $1750,000—is expected to be all wrapped up by the end of August.

The precast concrete box culvert bridge was assembled in seven sections, which were set using a 300 ton hydraulic truck crane, Cecil Township Supervisor Andy Schrader—a Reissing Road resident who watched on as the work was completed—explained.
He said workers on the project have said that the bridge still needs to be blacktopped, and that some backfilling in the area of the structure is needed before it can be reopened to traffic.
