Senior Living Home, Shopping Center and Residential Development Proposed in North Strabane

The North Strabane Township Board of Supervisors has set public hearings for a proposed senior living facility, shopping center and two residential developments.

The supervisors will consider the conditional use applications for the following proposals starting at 6:30 p.m. March 14 in the township building. The hearings are open to the public.

Here is more information on what is proposed:

• Weavertown Senior Living has proposed a 69-unit independent living facility on 16 acres of property located on Weavertown Road.

• The Streets at The Meadows, for a planned shopping center located on 10.69 acres of property located at the intersection of Racetrack Road and Meadows Drive.

• Foxridge, for a subdivision reflecting 74 single-family dwellings on 45.2 acres of property located on Willow Street.

• Greenwood Village, for a planned residential district development reflecting 120 multi-family units on 38.01 acres of property located off Greenwood and Victoria drives.
