A state police fire marshal is investigating the cause of a blaze that damaged a mobile home in Cecil Township on Sunday night.

Cecil Township police said the fire at 74 Wilson Ave. was reported by a passing motorist who saw flames coming from the structure around 9:50 p.m. Sunday.

When fire crews from Cecil, Muse and Lawrence arrived, the East side of the home was fully engulfed in flames, police said.

No one was injured in the fire—and police said neighbors reported that the mobile home had been vacant for several months.

Police on Monday were trying to get in touch with owner George Ondra, who reportedly purchased the home at a tax sale recently.
