The Nativity Is Back!

Councilman A.J. Williams said Knights of Columbus members moved the display back Wednesday morning.

He's back!

Baby Jesus and the components of the Knights of Columbus' nativity is back in front of the Canonsburg borough building, Councilman A.J. Williams said just minutes ago.

He added that public works employees have been toiling since earlier this morning to add the other components of the holiday display -- including wreaths, snow flakes and other nonreligious items.

"It kind of puts our minds at ease," Williams said. "It just kind of puts Christmas back into perspective."

The borough will kick off its Spirit of Christmas contest this weekend, which will culmintate in a live nativity from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday in front of the municipal building.
