Toddler Dies After Being Found in Pool
Family members reportedly found the boy unresponsive in an above-ground swimming pool.
A toddler died Monday after family members found him unresponsive in an above-ground swimming pool on Richland Avenue in Canonsburg, according to a report issued by Washington County Coroner Tim Warco.
Two-year-old Blake M. Metzger was pronounced dead at Canonsburg General Hospital shortly before 7 p.m., the release indicates
The cause and manner of death for the boy is pending an autopsy and investigation.
Canonsburg Mayor David H. Rhome, who oversees the borough police department, declined comment Monday night.
