Top Five: Big Brother Big Sisters Gives You a Chance to Meet a Penguin
Also today: Cecil, Canonsburg and Canon-McMillan also meet tonight.

Here are five things you need to know today:
1. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh will host a meet and greet at Jay's Sports Bar & Restaurant with broadcast sports analyst and former Penguin winger Bob Errey.
There will be half-price appetizers and drink specials for what BBBS Washington and Greene County program coordinator Sara Thomas described as a casual affair.

"It's going to be very informal and laid back," she said. "Come in, have fun and learn about the program."
Thomas said the Washington and Greene areas specifically need more Big Brothers (if you're 21 or older, you can apply). Applicants, she said, go through a screening process that includes in-person interviews, references and a background check.

3. Cecil Township Board of Supervisors will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. in the municipal building. An agenda was not immediately available. 4. The Washington County Food Bank will be collecting nonperishable food items in February and March. The Cecil Township Municipal Building is a designated collection site. Residents are invited to drop off donations from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The address again is 3599 Millers Run Road in Cecil. For more information call the food bank at 724-229-8175.
