Want Money for Canon-McMillan Schools? Vote for Them on 'Give with Target'
Your votes through Target's Facebook page could equal dollars for local schools.

With the click of a mouse, you could earn money for Canon-McMillan School District studentsβand you donβt even have to open your own pocketbook to do it.
Targetβs popularΒ βGive with Targetβ programΒ is back for the second year in a row.
The company is inviting Facebook users to help them allocate a $5 million donation to schools across the nation to help those schools get more of the things they need, including electronics, school and office supplies and storage and organization products.

Participants may visitΒ Targetβs Facebook pageΒ to accessΒ an appΒ that will allow them to vote for their school of choice once per week.Β

Once a school has received 25 votes, Target will donate $1 per vote, with a maximum donation of $10,000 per school.
The campaign runs through Sept. 21, or until the full $5 million has been allocated.
At the end of the campaign, the school that reaches 10,000 votes first or receives the highest number of votes will get a special celebration, including appearances by celerity members of the Give With Target βClass of 2013,β a live musical performance and more.
The βClass of 2013β celebrities include LaLa Anthony, Sophia Bush, U.S. Olympic gymnast Gabrielle Douglas, Super Bowl champ Donald Driver and country music star Luke Bryan.
