Who Should Be Next in Canon-McMillan's Hall of Honor?

Nominations will be accepted starting in mid-June.

Canon-McMillan School District administration is seeking nominees for the next class of the Canon-McMillan Hall of Honor.

Each year, the district's Hall of Honor Committee seeks nominations from the public in five areas—Academia, Athletics, Arts, Citizenry and Valor—and the public has responded in grand fashion, earning induction for such people as black football pioneer Raymond H. Kemp and pop music sensations The Four Coins.

Individuals in the Hall of Honor must distinguish themselves in at least one of the five areas through notable accomplishments and/or contributions.

Nominees must be at least 30 years old, but in the case of a deceased nominee, the age requirement is waived.

Nominations are valid only for one year, so should your nominee fail to make it into the Class of 2013, you must renominate for 2014.
