Bartender Robbed of Tip Money

A robber confronted an employee at the H20 bar along Noblestown Road after closing time and stole her tip money, said.

The tip money was stolen from her while she was in the parking lot after the closed for the night in the early hours of Aug. 16, police said.

Investigators did not elaborate on how the money was stolen. A description of the robber was not available.

Two face drug charges: Two people face drug possession charges after Scott Township police said they were trying to sell stolen merchandise at the GetGo gas station along Cochran Road on Aug. 14. Police arrested Gina M. Ross, 21, of Scott, and Bobby Poynter, 24, of Williamsburg, KY, at the gas station after receiving complaints from patrons.

Fight leads to charges: Scott police said they charged Adam J. Miller, 30, of Bridgeville, with assault, motor vehicle theft and possession of drug paraphernalia following a fight at the Nob Hill Apartments on Aug. 17.

Two cited for disorderly conduct: Christopher Stanley, 21, of Scott, and a male juvenile were cited for disorderly conduct on Aug. 16, township police said.

Mailbox damaged by vandals: Scott Township police said a mailbox at a Magazine Street home was damaged while the resident was out of town on Aug. 18.
