Charges Reduced for Woman Accused of Marshalls Theft

Theft charges were reduced against one of three woman who allegedly stole items from Marshall's Department Store in May.

Charges have been reduced against one of three women accused in a theft incident at Marshalls Department Store in Scott Township.

Charges of receiving stolen property, conspiracy and obstructing administration of law against Cheyenne Arrington, 18, were withdrawn following a preliminary hearing July 25 before Magisterial District Judge Gary M. Zyra. Charges of retail theft and disorderly conduct were reduced to non-traffic citations.

Scott Township Police charged Arrington after receiving reports that she and another woman stole items from Marshalls on May 4.

In June, charges also were reduced against Linda Witherspoon, 47, who also was allegedly involved in the incident.
