A convicted felon is accused of burglarizing a Heidelberg home, stealing a handgun and selling it.
arrested John R. Liggett, 27, of Bridgeville, last week in connection with the Aug. 20 burglary at a home in the borough.
Police said he sold the handgun to a Collier Township resident for $140. That person could also face charges in connection with the purchase, police said.

Liggett faces charges of burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, police said. Investigators from Heidelberg worked with Collier and Bridgeville police officers to track down Liggett and the handgun.

DUI arrest: William Lang, 33, of Carnegie, was charged with drunken driving during a traffic stop for speeding along Route 50 in the early hours of Sept. 9, Heidelberg police said.
