Grinch Cuts Christmas Lights at Collier Home

Vandals cut a strand of Christmas tree lights hanging from a Collier Township home over the weekend.

A Grinch cut a strand of outdoor Christmas tree lights hanging from a Collier Township home over the weekend.

Collier police said the Summerfield Estates Drive resident told them the lights were found damaged at the home on Dec. 2.

Police think the vandalism happened over the weekend at the Summerfield Estates development off of Thoms Run Road.

Investigators do not have any suspects and did not say how much the damage will cost the homeowner.

DUI arrest: Collier Township police said they arrested a motorist on DUI charges after she was driving erratically along Thoms Run Road last month. Police said they stopped Kimberly Thorpe, 45, of Bridgeville, near the Presto Hotel after receiving a report that she was driving carelessly. Police said they found alcohol and suspected drugs in the car during the stop on Nov. 30.
