If you saw a picture of Bridgeville in 1893, could you find the site of your future house? Bridgeville Historical Society volunteer Daria Lacy said that's what draws people to the unique painting hanging inside the society's front door. It was painted by Frank A. Russell in 1929 and depicts Bridgeville in 1893. It was donated to the historical society by the Patton Family. This and other local artifacts can be seen at Bridgeville Historical Society on Railroad Street, Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
