Two women face theft charges after Scott Township police said they tried to steal $800 worth of merchandise from Walmart on Sept. 12. Police arrested Jessica Allday, 30, of Scott, and Christie Emery, 28, of Pittsburgh, after they allegedly left the store without paying. Police said they also found Allday with prescription medication that didn’t belong to her.

Woman accused of being on drugs at magistrate: Scott Township police charged Traci Werner, 28, of Carnegie, with public drunkenness on Sept. 13 after officers said she was under the influence of a drug while outside the district magistrate’s office along Lindsay Road. Werner was taken to a hospital by medics and released.
Public drunkenness arrest leads to more charges: Jennifer Hammond, 39, of Scott, was charged with public drunkenness after township police said they found her intoxicated on Carothers Avenue in the early hours of Sept. 15. Police said the next day they charged her with filing a false police report after numerous unsubstantiated complaints.

Possession of drug paraphernalia charge: Mary Mumminello, 25, of Scott, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after township police said they found items in her purse during a traffic stop along Creek Street in the early hours of Sept. 11. Police said they also arrested Julie Racz, 27, of Scott, on an outstanding bench warrant in Allegheny County.
Public drunkenness charge: Jeffrey Aldridge, 39, of Scott, was charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after township police said he was causing problems in the 500 block of Center Street on Sept. 10.
Tools stolen: A Craftsman toolbox and the tools inside were stolen from a yard in the 400 block of Carothers Avenue on Sept. 15, Scott police said.
Son allegedly breaks mom’s car mirror: Cody Bean, 19, of Scott, was charged with criminal mischief after township police said he broke the side mirror of his mother’s car along Woodridge Drive on Sept. 13.
Car vandalized: A car parked behind a home on Spikenard Street was scratched along the doors in on Sept. 15, Scott police said.
