Big Crowd Expected for Octoberfest
The 11th annual festival will take place Saturday at Scott Park.

It will be a gorgeous weekend for celebration.
Besides a few traffic headaches from nearby construction, event organizers are expecting many people to come to the Saturday event, which will go from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. all around Scott Park.
There will be games for the kids, craft vendors, hayrides and plenty of food.

“We’re looking forward to people coming out and having a good time with their family one more time before the weather starts turning ugly,” said , who organizes the festival. “It’s nice to see all the people come out. It’s a very big family event because there’s something for everyone.”
The Rhythm Kings, Mansfield Five and Vanessa Campagna will be the musical performers, and there will also be German dancers at 1 p.m. in the amphitheater. The craft show at the top of the park will have 30 vendors.
