Woman Severely Burned in Bridgeville

A woman suffered severe burns inside a Bridgeville home Friday.

said the woman, whose identity was not immediately released, was taken to a Pittsburgh area hospital for treatment. Her condition is not known at this time.

He said there apparently was no fire inside the Hickman Street home when crews were called around noon. However, he could not elaborate on how the woman was burned.

Chilleo said the incident is still under investigation by the Allegheny County Fire Marshal.
