$134 in Groceries Stolen, Police Say

A man also gives his PIN number to his girlfriend, then calls the police.

Theft: On April 12, at approximately 6:40 p.m., police received a report of a theft in the 6300 block of McCallum Street.  According to police, a man allowed his girlfriend to hold his “access card,” and the man gave his girlfriend his PIN number.  Police say that the man now has $200 missing, but he also refused to give police the name of his girlfriend or a description.

Theft: On April 14, at approximately 12:28 p.m., police received a report of a theft at the PathMark located at 7700 Crittenden Street.  According to police, a woman was observed leaving the store with a cart full of items without paying for them.  The stolen items included motor oil, a mousetrap, antifreeze and tomatoes.  Police value the items stolen at $134.
