1 Dead, 1 Critical In East Mount Airy Shooting Wednesday: Reports

A 42-year-old man is in critical condition and a 36-year-old man is dead after a shooting on the 1300 block of E. Johnson Street Wednesday.

EAST MOUNT AIRY, PHILADELPHIA — A shooting in East Mt. Airy left one person dead and another hurt early Wednesday morning, according to reports.

The shooting happened at about Wednesday morning on the 1300 block of East Johnson Street, according to Action News.

A 42-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in his chest, and a 36-year-old man died after being shot at least twice in his chest, Fox 29 reports.

Investigators found two handguns on the 42-year-old man, as well as 11 shell casings in the area, according to NBC10.
